Description

Maranta leuconeura is also called praying hands.

They are flowering plants of the family Marantaceae, native to the New World tropics.

They have a popular tricolour variety that has deep green, velvety leaves with yellow splotches down the midrib and arching red veins travelling to the leaf margins.
